The Emergency Aid Network (EAN) was created based on a variety of research and guidance available in the field of higher education. Below you will find a handful of the resources referenced in the creation of the EAN at KU, and the tools and guiding documents that are being used as we move forward in furthering our supports for students.
Resources for Staff & Faculty To Assist Students
Trainings will be available to assist staff and faculty in learning how to help a student who is experiencing financial hardship and assist students in navigating the resources on this website. These trainings will provide guidance, best practices, and go over common situations that students experience during financial hardships. You can find upcoming trainings listed below that are open to any staff or faculty to attend.

Faculty & Staff in Need
Faculty and staff who are looking to use resources are welcome to navigate the Student Resources page. Many of the community resources listed on the Student Resources page are available to more than just KU students. KU employees can also navigate resources with KU's Human Resources office. They offer trainings, benefits counseling, and other resources to KU employees.
Staff & Faculty Financial Assistance
KU Human Resources manages the The Rosalie Lanier Gray KU Staff Assistance Fund, which provides emergency assistance for staff members who are struggling due to natural or personal disasters that have caused financial hardship. You can find more information and the application for this fund on the KU Human Resources website.
